She can also be seen in numerous local commercials and indie films. While in NYC, she was the managing director of her theatre company of P.L.A.Y. “Who Cares?  I Do!” – The Creation of Character and Script Analysis through Personalization.

Actors will receive a script and be taught the basics of breaking down the script and how to personalize every word and have every word mean something important.   Techniques covered include improvisation, sensory work (using all five senses), body work to free blocked energy, and the use of imagination.  We will explore these techniques in order to discover the strongest choices with the highest stakes for actors.
These choices will allow the actors to connect to the text in order to help build character and tell the story without any sense of contrivance.  Students will experience a deeper, more meaningful connection with their character, their text and scene partner.  Objectives will become clearer as choices are clearer.  If “you” care as the actor, then the audience will care.  It has to start with you!
Scripts will be provided.
