Jakub Folvarčný is a freelance actor, director, writer, singer and teacher based in Prague, Czech Republic.
This experienced and internationally active author in the field of the alternative and puppet theater is coming to reveal his know haw of sharing the stage with various objects and of opening the audience's imagination through manipulating and presenting these objects in all possible contexts. In past years he held several workshops on this theme and also taught acting on his alma mater - The Academy of performing arts, Prague.
Even though Jakub consistently was indeed into teaching the majority of his professional activities stays in the sphere of original theater, music and poetry works. He is one of the most popular Czech puppeteers and two-time winner of national Poetry slam competition. The chance to observe his skills was given to people all around the Europe, in Canada, Korea or India. This is his first visit in Greece.
