Solo Performance through the ART OF TRANSFORMATION
Ronald Rand’s Master Workshop is a unique opportunity to explore the organic process of the “Art of Transformation’ leading to developing, rehearsing and performing Solo Performance on stage by using Constantin Stanislavski’s actual “Method of Physical Actions” chart (the culmi-nation of his acting system), ‘relationship-space’ and immersion exercises from Jerzy Gro-towski’s technique, and tempo, imagination, improvisation, and communication exercises from Yevgeny Vakhtangov’s work – towards authentic truth in characterization.
What if it was possible to actually ‘live on stage’ as another person, through one’s imagination and be relaxed enough to actually capture the inner realm of a person’s thoughts created by the playwright – the actual ‘life of the human spirit.’ By expanding your vision, these exercises which will lead to a purer way of seeing, of hearing, of listening – seeking out the most relevant discovery that you can make in the moment – artistically, emotionally, and spiritually – leading to true creation in the ‘art of story-telling.
