The Actor’s Poetic

This workshop intends to explore the creative capacity of the actor, at the service of the scene or the text. The proposal, is to stimulate the actor to find and develop his own poetics with different exercises, both physical and emotional. Putting the body at the disposal of the scene and the character is essential in this workshop because it’s the tool with which the actor has to work.
The purpose of the workshop is to create a scene from a text or an image. And the improvisation as a resource to explore the different ways of approaching a text or topic. The work will focus on exploring how to approach a character in a certain situation or dramatic text and how that character characterizes physically and mentally.
My intention is to be able to provide tools so that the actor can face a work or character in a more organic way. The participants of this workshop need to bring comfortable clothes and an open mind to new things. My desire is that we can investigate and have fun together in this new adventure.
